Computer / Keyboard Lab
Departmental Computer Lab
The music department computer lab serves a triple purpose. First, it houses the piano lab, where students learn and practice their piano skills. Second, it houses 12 Windows computers with a variety of MIDI and audio software installed, including a Pro Tools MBox system on each machine. On these computers, students in the Music Technology program get their first hands-on experiences dealing with MIDI and computer-based digital audio. Finally, this facility is the main student computer lab for the department. It is open whenever the music library, housed next door, is open.
