The University of Central Missouri’s Child Development Associate Training course will help you achieve your career goals and enter the rewarding field of childcare. The comprehensive course includes topics such as establishing positive relationships, providing a safe childcare environment, early childhood academics and behavior management. Median pay for childcare workers is approximately $23,240, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Our recognized course allows students to earn national Child Development Associate certificationwoman-working-with-small-children

Upon completion of this class, students will have earned the 120 hours of professional development required by the Council of Professional Recognition for CDA (Child Development Associate) certification. This recognized, flexible course is self-paced with students having the opportunity to enroll and complete coursework on their schedule. To help you succeed, each student is paired with a facilitator for one-on-one interaction. Your facilitator is available via email to answer any questions and provide feedback on your coursework.
