University Housing provides residential experiences that empower students to become confident, successful, lifelong learners who are dedicated to service.
Living on campus is a great choice and an integral part of the complete college experience. With a broad spectrum of opportunities designed to complement your academic endeavors, you'll be part of a community where you can grow and experience life independently, yet have support to help you excel on campus. Plus, there's always something happening!
In support of UCM's Learning to a Greater Degree, UCM requires first-year and sophomore students under the age of 21 to reside on campus as part of a two-year residency requirement. Freshmen and sophomores are also required to have specified meal plans.
Fall 2019 Move-In
First year students who signed up for Kickoff may move in Thursday, August 15. First years not signed up for kick off may move in Sunday, August 18th. Returning residence hall students may all return on the 18th. Apartment students should refer to emails regarding move-in.
Gender Inclusive Housing (GIH)
UCM Housing provides GIH to have an environment that is welcoming and embracing of all gender identities as well as those students serving as allies to the LGBTQI Community. Through this process, students who opt in to GIH are permitted to have roommates and suitemates regardless of gender identity.
