Rae Clements

Rae was the Office Professional in various departments within the College of Education before becoming the Administrative Assistant to the Dean. She also volunteers as the advisor for Prism, UCM's LGBTQIA+ student organization. She earned her BSE in Elementary Education, MS in Educational Technology, and EdS in Career and Technical Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs, all from UCM. She also holds graduate certificates in Academic Advising and in Diversity Issues in Higher Education. Prior to joining the CoE staff, she has worked as an Educational Technology Specialist for Pearson Higher Education, Youth Specialist with the Missouri Division of Youth Services, adjunct instructor in Educational Technology at UCM, and substitute teacher in the Warrensburg R-VI School District. Her research interests include gender inclusivity in higher education and military/veteran student programs. In her spare time, Rae writes novels, plays video games, and spends time with family.
