Educational Psychology

UCM offers two courses in Educational Psychology to meet your needs as a current or future educator. With a focus on psychological concepts, principles, theories, research findings, and techniques relevant to guiding the educative process, you will build a foundaton of understanding that will serve you well both in and out of the classroom. You will compare and contrast behaviorist, neo-behaviorist, and cognitive science based learning theories. Learn about and discuss psychosocial, and moral development while you develop an understanding of the impact of culture, socio-economic status, race, peer status, and gender on the educational experience.

Undergraduate students will take EDFL 2400 either online or as part of their educational foundations block.

Graudate students take EDFL 5200 which is offered exclusively online.
