Dr. Angela Danley served in a variety of roles in public education for 18 years prior to coming to UCM. Her experience in teaching special education (PreK-12th grade), 2nd grade, and serving as instructional coach allow her to share valuable knowledge with tomorrow’s teachers. Dr. Danley earned her BS in Special Education from Avila University and her MAT from Webster University. She earned her EdS in school administration from UCM and her EdD from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2011, she received the Excellence in Teaching award from Lee's Summit School District. Her research interests include pedagogical practices, data-based decision making, collaboration, dispositions, and reflective teaching practices. In her spare time, Dr. Danley enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running, and exercising at the gym.
