Dr. Park received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and is a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), a Certified Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), a Certified Windows Security Administrator (GCWN), and a GIAC advisory board member. Dr. Park is currently an Associate Professor and a Cybersecurity and Information Technology program coordinator in the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Central Missouri.
Dr. Park’s experiences and specialties include computer and network forensics, cryptography, cyber-physical security, ethical hacking, and network security. Dr. Park’s research interests include high availability and scalability issues in Software-Defined Network (SDN), software-defined in-network data de-duplication, location privacy in wireless sensor networks, network traffic/performance analysis and modeling, smartphone-based localization and authentication, and fault tolerance computing systems.
