Dr. Yu joined the University of Central Missouri as an Assistant Professor in Fall
2021. He
received his Ph.D. in the Department of Computer Science from the University of Kentucky
in
2020. Before that, He received his M.S. Degree from Changchun University of Science
and
Technology and respectively his B.E. degree from Jilin University.
Dr. Yu’s research interests include software testing, natural language processing,
deep learning,
reinforcement learning, and computer networks. He published papers in top-rated journals
and
international conferences: ICSE, ICDCS, INFOCOM, ICCCN, Transaction of Computer Network,
Information and Software Technology, Computer Networks, etc.
At the University of Kentucky, he was a recipient of the outstanding paper award in
computer
science in 2020 and the Thaddeus B. Curtz Memorial Scholarship award in 2019. He received
an
honorable paper award at the CyberC conference (2015).
