UCM has one of the finest cybersecurity and information technology programs in the region. We offer undergraduate programs in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, as well as a master program in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance. UCM's Cybersecurity department has been designated as a National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense sponsored by the National Security Agency (NSA) since 2022. All permanent cybersecurity and information technology faculty have a Ph.D. degree in computer science, electrical and computer engineering or closely related areas. They conduct both theoretical and applied research in their own areas and publish their research results on major research journals.
