Dr. Loch is paleontologist who specializes in the study of trilobites from the Late Cambrian and Early Ordovician.  He has conducted field research from Pennsylvania to Nevada in various mountains and cow pastures.  His teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Geology, Oceanography, Dinosaurs in the Mesozoic, as well as team-teaching Evolution for the biology program.  His outreach activities include fossil identification for local fossil collectors.
