Dr. Kereri holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science with a specialization in Construction Management from Louisiana State University, a Master of Technology Management with a specialization in Construction Management from Bowling Green State University, and a Bachelor of Construction Management from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology in Juja, Kenya.
James has previously worked as a construction manager with a five-year record of success overseeing all phases of multimillion-dollar construction of residential and commercial projects, as well as infrastructure and environmental projects for government and private-sector clients. James also has seven years experience in academia teaching construction contracts, project management, project delivery, and construction project scheduling.
Dr. Kereri’s research interests are in relationship management, relational contracting, construction project team behaviors, relationship quality, and labor issues. He is also an expert in regression and partial least squares structural equation modeling for construction project team relationships.
Currently, Dr. Kereri teaches Statics, Applied Strengths of Materials, Surveying and Construction Layout, and Construction Materials.
