Mental Fitness

Strengthen your skills for managing life's challenges

These free, informal, interactive workshops are presented by the UCM Counseling Center and the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

And, get credit for attending Mental Fitness workshops on your UCM Experience Transcript!

Mental Fitness - In Person

Beginning October 7, 2020, all Mental Fitness IN-PERSON workshops will be discontinued for the remainder of the Fall 2020 semester. We apologize for any inconvenience. We would like to encourage all students to access our Mental Fitness ONLINE workshops via Blackboard, at your own convenience.

These workshops are available on Blackboard:

  • Healthy Relationships
  • Self-Care
  • Managing Anxiety
  • Relaxation
  • Dealing with Grief
  • Managing Emotions
  • Better Sleep
  • Healthy Sexual Relationships
  • Resiliency

 How to access Mental Fitness workshops on Blackboard:

  1. Login to Blackboard using the UCM Single Sign on
  2. Select “Organizations” from the Blackboard Menu on the right-hand side.
  3. Click on the “Organization Catalog” in the upper left-hand corner of your webpage.
  4. Type the name: Mental Fitness Online.
  5. Click on the chevron next to the COURSE ID and select “ENROLL” from the dropdown menu.

On future visits, Mental Fitness Online should automatically show up in your “Organizations” tab (on the right side of your Blackboard  menu.
