If you choose this option, you don't have to complete any additional work. Enrollees will receive a "P" grade (pass). Transcripts may be requested after December 2021. Follow the instructions on the "How to Enroll" menu option below to complete your registration.
If you choose this option, you would need to write and submit a short 3-5 pages paper due on April 8, 2022. You will earn three credit hours with a letter grade of A-D based upon the quality of the paper you submit. A description of the course and objectives can be found on this course syllabus. You will need internet access as all work will be submitted online. After registering for the credits, an email confirmation will go out to the account provided on your original Boys or Girls State application. Credits will be awarded for the Spring 2022 semester and transcripts will be available after May, 2022.
You must apply for admission to UCM in order to receive the credits - even if you plan to attend a different institution. Your application will be specific to this credit option and it won't affect other admission plans you may have.
An email confirmation will be sent to you within 7 days of registration.
If you have applied and/or received credits from Central before, you don't need to re-apply. Print this registration form and email it to dualcredit@ucmo.edu by the corresponding deadline above.
