UCM Housing Grant

To further assist students with the cost of their college experience, UCM Housing is providing a $500/year grant to the first 200 new incoming, Pell-eligible freshmen or transfer students who complete their FAFSA and residence hall agreement by May 1, 2019. See below eligibility requirements.

Who will receive this grant?

UCM Housing will use the following selection criteria to determine eligibility for the housing grant:

  • Must be a new first-time freshman or new transfer student for fall 2019.
  • Must be a full-time student seeking your first undergraduate degree.
  • Must have FAFSA submitted to UCM.
  • Must have submitted a residence hall agreement.
  • Must demonstrate eligibility for the Pell Grant.
  • Must be a Missouri resident at the time of the award.

Limited awards available. First 200 to complete the FAFSA and residence hall agreement and demonstrate Pell eligibility will be awarded.

Deadline: May 1, 2019.

What do I need to submit?

Submitting your information is easy. All you need to provide is a completed FAFSA, a completed residence hall agreement and demonstrate eligibility for the Pell Grant by May 1, 2019. Information should be submitted through MyCentral.

Is the grant renewable?

No, this is a one-time grant for the fall 2019 and spring 2020 semesters only. Awards are $250 for fall 2019 and spring 2020. Grants are issued at the beginning of each semester to student accounts.
