Week of Welcome
This week starts with us helping you move in during Mule Haul on Sunday, Aug. 16 and continues through Saturday, Aug. 23. It's filled with various activities to help you get acclimated to life at UCM, meet new friends and learn your way around campus.

UCM is home to hundreds of student organizations and activities, which create a vibrant campus environment that Mules and Jennies are proud to call home. From our state-of-the-art Student Recreation and Wellness Center to the new Union Cinema, take time to experience life at UCM.
At UCM, we are committed to your success, and one of the best ways to ensure your success during your first year is to take a freshman seminar class. There are major-specific sections of freshman seminar offered as well as general ones. In freshman seminar, you will:
- Make new friends and build connections on campus.
- Learn your way around and how to best use campus resources.
- Enhance your academic skills, such as time management and writing.
- Set academic and personal goals.
