Student Resources for Online Courses

Student Support

If you are a UCM student and are having problems using your instructor’s Blackboard site, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) can offer basic Blackboard support via phone and our CTL email and Hangouts (ctl@ucmo.edu).

The Technology Support Center (TSC) is often the best option for this; however, if needed, we WILL answer student requests as we are able.

Please note - CTL does NOT answer technical questions. These should be directed to the Technology Support Center (TSC) at tsc@ucmo.edu or 660-543-4357. This includes password resets and connectivity issues.

CTL Contacts for Basic Student Support

Due to the CORONAVIRUS-19 work-from-home directives, CTL is now working remotely under revised hours of 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Our phones have been transferred, so we will receive your calls if you call the CTL office. (Both the CTL main office phone (543-8528) and Hangouts are monitored outside of regular office hours, so you will be responded to within 24 hours) . If you contact us outside of those hours and no one answers, please leave a message (it may show up as “private” when we call back, so be aware of that, please). We will get back with you as soon as possible. Please see below for staff and contact information:

  • Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) - 660-543-8528, CTL@ucmo.edu. Chat is available most times through Google Hangouts.
  • Individual Team Members:

Again, technical questions should be directed to the Technology Support Center (TSC) at tsc@ucmo.edu or 660-543-4357. This includes Password resets and connectivity issues.
