Something to Eat Event at UCM

Date: April 18-22, 2016

Time: 10 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Place: Tent in front of Elliott Union

Something to Eat is a crisis response meal packaging program that binds together the privileged and the poor. It is designed as a socially interactive, tangible way to respond to aid relief efforts through low-cost, nutrient-dense meals. Since 2009, 20,000 people (mostly teenagers) from 600+ churches have packaged more than half a million meals to be sent to the hungry all over our world.

Something to Eat at UCM is a community effort purposed to feed people in need. It's about taking your knowledge and sense of purpose and putting it into action. It is an opportunity for our community to come together, considering the good of others.

How can you help? Visit the tent outside the Elliot Union from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. from Monday, April 18 through Friday, April 22. Each package costs $1.50 and feeds six people. Invite your family, friends, classmates, employees, businesses and organizations - bring everyone with you!

**If you or your group cannot visit the tent between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., use the Google form below to sign up for another time after 8:30 a.m., before 8 p.m..
