UCM’s online Simulation Education Certificate Program built for your busy life, taught by faculty with real-world expertise, conveniently and completely available online.
The healthcare education field has an increased need for qualified simulation education professionals. This advanced preparation provides an in-demand skill designed for educators and education support personnel.  (This program qualifies for academic credit. To receive academic credit, additional admissions requirements must be met.)


Upon completion of this program you will be able to demonstrate leadership skills in simulation education, learn to evaluate technologies applicable to simulation education, synthesize simulation best practices for educational outcomes, implement effective learning strategies for simulation education, and integrate simulation knowledge and skills within an academic or healthcare setting.

Requirements for Acceptance into the Program

 

This graduate certificate program requires participants have a bachelor's degree. If academic credit is desired, additional admissions requirements will apply. Healthcare experience is preferred, but not required.

NUR 5110 Simulation Education and Facilitation 3
NUR 5120 Leadership and Management in Simulation 3
NUR 5130 Simulation Education Capstone 3
