Who’s Who at UCM Call for Nominations
The Office of Student Experience and Engagement is currently accepting nominations for the 2013 Charno Awards and Who’s Who at UCM. All campus community members are encouraged to nominate qualified senior undergraduate students. Each year the university presents two awards -- one to a graduating undergraduate man and one to a graduating undergraduate woman. These students are considered to be the outstanding students of this year’s graduating class at the University of Central Missouri. These awards will be announced in April and officially presented during the May commencement ceremonies. To receive the Charno Award, the individual must have qualified for a baccalaureate degree at the end of summer session 2012, fall semester 2012 or spring semester 2013, and meet the following criteria: 1. Demonstrated leadership ability 2. Superior performance in scholastic work 3. Participation in social and service organizations, and extracurricular activities 4. Outstanding work in academic divisions and/or departments 5. Dynamic interpersonal skills 6. Character above reproach Who’s Who at UCM The Awards Selection Committee also selects approximately 30 students for membership into Who’s Who at UCM. The committee selects the Who’s Who recipients from the pool of students nominated for the Charno Award.
Please submit your nominations by 5 p.m. January 24 at the following link: http://www.ucmo.edu/surveys/?formID=5186. Once nominated, the student will be contacted by the Office of Student Experience and Engagement to complete a form detailing their activities.
