Located in west central Missouri, Warrensburg is a comfortable town of about 18,000 residents who welcome UCM students and their families. Many students describe Warrensburg as having a close community atmosphere with unexpected charm, and lots to keep you busy.

Warrensburg has eight parks with two more under construction, nearly 50 restaurants, and an active community calendar that includes spring and holiday arts and crafts shows, an annual Earth Day celebration, the July 4th Freedom Festival, the Johnson County Fair and Johnson County Rodeo, a car show and more. Just outside Warrensburg is the 3,000-acre Knob Noster State Park, a great place for hiking, fishing, horseback riding and off-road cycling.

Named the county seat for Johnson County in 1836, Warrensburg has since become a center for agriculture and a mix of manufacturing, commercial, and retail enterprises. More about Warrensburg and Johnson County…
