The University of Central Missouri Web Page Design JumpStart certificate program prepares students to create basic websites for themselves as well as their employers and other organizations. Career opportunities in this area in the metropolitan area and throughout the region are growing rapidly. Jobs including webpage creation among their duties also have numerous opportunities for advancement. Through this program, students earn a certificate of completion and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Through face-to-face instructor-led classes and hands-on activities, students will learn to create and post their own websites on the Internet using HTML. The course includes an overview of the capabilities of the World Wide Web, design fundamentals and information on how to incorporate powerful no-cost/low-cost marketing website strategies. Students completing the course will receive a certificate from the University of Central Missouri.
