                                    Dr. Bapatla joined the University of Central Missouri as an Assistant Professor in
                                       Fall 2024. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University
                                       of North Texas in Summer 2024, following his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering
                                       from the same institution in 2019.
                                    
                                     
                                    
                                    Dr. Bapatla's research interests include Distributed Networks, Distributed Application
                                       Development, Blockchain and Smart Contracts, IoT Systems, Scalable Blockchain for
                                       IoT Systems, Energy-efficient Consensus Mechanisms, Secure Architectures for Smart
                                       Healthcare and Smart Agriculture, and Efficient Decision Support Tools for Smart Agriculture.
                                       He has published numerous research papers in journals and international conferences.
                                    
                                     
                                    
                                    Dr. Bapatla has over five years of teaching experience, working as a Graduate Teaching
                                       Assistant in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of
                                       North Texas. In addition, he has three years of industry experience as a Senior Systems
                                       Engineer at Infosys Ltd. He is a member of IEEE, IEEE Young Professionals, and the
                                       IEEE Blockchain Community.
