Christopher Smith

 

Mr. Chris Smith is an Assistant Professor in the Occupational Risk and Safety Sciences Department.  Mr. Smith holds a BS in Safety Management and a MS in Industrial Safety from the University of Central Missouri.  Mr. Smith is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA).  Mr. Smith has over 10+ years of experience as an Environmental Compliance Investigator with the KCMO Health Department and 20+ years experience as an Occupational Safety Specialist with multiple KCMO departments.  Mr. Smith also has 6 years of experience as a fire protection specialist with the Missouri Air Force National Guard.
