Dr. Park received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and is a GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE), a Certified Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP), and a GIAC advisory board member. Dr. Park is currently an Assistant Professor and a Cybersecurity program coordinator in the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Central Missouri.
Dr. Park’s experiences and specialties include computer and network forensics, cryptography, cyber-physical security, ethical hacking, and network security. Dr. Park’s research interests include high availability and scalability issues in Software-Defined Network (SDN), software-defined in-network data de-duplication, location privacy in wireless sensor networks, network traffic/performance analysis and modeling, smartphone-based localization and authentication, and fault tolerance computing systems.
