Dr. Azimzadeh, the program coordinator of Design and Drafting Technology/CADD, brings years of educational and professional experiences to the University of Central Missouri (UCM). Regarding her qualifications, Dr. Azimzadeh has an engineering degree in Architecture from the Technical University in Dortmund, Germany, a master’s degree in Technical and Occupational Education from the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, and a Ph.D. in E-Learning from Northcentral University in San Diego, California. In addition to designing several residential and commercial buildings throughout her architectural studies, Azimzadeh’s thesis included a complex, contemporary senior living community designed to improve the quality of seniors’ homes and lives indoors and outdoors. She is also specialized in Urban Design, CADD Technology, and Career and Technical Education. After working in the architecture industry for several years, Azimzadeh joined the UCM faculty in 2007.

Dr. Azimzadeh teaches a variety of CADD courses and enjoys working with students and helping them succeed. She is also involved in the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and advises students on how to complete a bachelor’s degree in CADD at UCM in Warrensburg and Lee’s Summit. Regarding her professional affiliations, Azimzadeh is a member of The American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) and The Association of Technology Management and Applied Engineering (ATMAE). She has had several presentations at ATMAE and has been published.
