How is this program funded?
Title X is a federally funded grant program provided by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This allows services to be free or low-cost, regardless of a patient’s insurance status.
As a UCM student, can I access these services?
The short answer: yes! Our sexual and reproductive health services are for all students, regardless of income or insurance status.
How much do I pay?
Sexual and reproductive services at the University Health Center are based on income. Services may be free for some students or you may be asked to pay a small fee. Because these services are subsidized by a federal grant, everything is designed to be affordable and low-cost.
Is it confidential?
Yes! Information concerning sexual and reproductive health services is only shared with individuals whom you agree to share it with, except as required by law or to provide you with services. See our consent form for further information about confidentiality under Title X.

What is Title X?
Title X is a federally funded grant program dedicated to providing affordable family planning and sexual health services. It offers confidential access to birth control, STI testing and treatment and education on sexual health, but does not provide any abortion services. Services are available to all individuals, regardless of income or insurance status, with a focus on accessibility for underserved communities. Title X prioritizes patient-centered care, promoting informed decision-making and overall wellness. In 2025, Campus Community Health was awarded Title X funding to promote the health and safety of all UCM students.
The Family Planning Program is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) through the Missouri Family Health Council, Inc., under Grant Number FPHPA006561. Its contents are solely the responsibility of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official views of DHHS.
