Spotlight Executive Board meets weekly. They have 10 office hours a week and plan over 50 events each semester.
Marissa Boyd is in her third year at UCM majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor in Corrections and Psychology. Her hometown is New London, MO. Marissa's favorite thing about Spotlight is being able to make connections all over campus and trying to get students involved. She loves UCM because she able to live somewhere very different from where she grew up and be able to meet people that she never would have encountered in her hometown. She enjoys reading and watching Harry Potter, baking, shopping and buying people gifts.
Cayla Thurman is a senior, majoring in Psychology from St. Louis. Her favorite thing about UCM is the diverse individuals that create a welcoming environment for everyone. She thinks that UCM is a place for everyone. We embrace individuality along with challenge each other academically and professionally. Cayla is excited to be a Co-Operations Mentor for Spotlight assisting in igniting Mule Pride campus wide. She believes Spotlight can be a place for students to plan or participate in events that cater to their individual interest. Also Spotlight is a good place to network with different parts of campus.
Faith Ford is a Modern Language Major with an emphasis in Public Relations. She is Belton, MO and chose to come to UCM because of the campus atmosphere. Faith is super excited to be on the executive board for Spotlight because it will allow her to help create the campus environment that she was so excited for when she chose to come to UCM. Students should get involved with Spotlight because its fun and a great way to meet new people.
There are two Mules After Dark (MAD) Coordinators and the first is Kelly Ford. She is majoring in Elementary Education and from Belton, Missouri. Kelly's favorite thing about UCM is all of the opportunities it has to offer.She is excited to be on the Exec Board of Spotlight because she enjoys being involved and is looking forward to hosting events that others can enjoy. Kelly believes students should get involved in Spotlight because it's a great way to meet new people.
