Meet the Executive Board
Your Leadership Team
Spotlight Executive Board meets weekly. They have 10 office hours a week and plan
over 50 events each semester.
Marissa Boyd is in her third year at UCM majoring in Criminal Justice with a minor
in Corrections and Psychology. Her hometown is New London, MO. Marissa's favorite
thing about Spotlight is being able to make connections all over campus and trying
to get students involved. She loves UCM because she able to live somewhere very different
from where she grew up and be able to meet people that she never would have encountered
in her hometown. She enjoys reading and watching Harry Potter, baking, shopping and
buying people gifts.
Vice President of Marketing
Kylie Thompson comes from Springdale, AR and is a sophomore majoring in Management
and Marketing. She loves that Spotlight brings fun events to campus that brings UCM
students together. Kylie’s favorite thing about UCM is all the different opportunities
for everyone, and in her spare time she likes being outdoors “adventuring.”
Vice President of Membership
Mikayla Elia is a sophomore double majoring in International Studies and Anthropology. Her favorite thing
about UCM would have to be Jazzman’s. Mikayla loves spending time with her friends.
The Comedian Coordinator is Abbey Bollinger.
Recreation & Leisure Coordinator
The Rec & Leisure Coordinator is Taylor Kemna, who a senior Criminal Justice & Crisis
Disaster Management major. She is from Stockton, MO and her favorite thing about Spotlight
is the opportunity to create something unique and fun for the students of UCM. Taylor’s
favorite thing about UCM is the sense of community and belonging she has discovered
amongst her friends and organizations over the last three years. Her favorite thing
to do is drive around country roads listening to music or having deep conversations
Pride & Traditions Coordinator
Faith Brown is a junior working toward a Social Work degree. She is from St. Louis, Missouri. She loves
how Spotlight shows the positive light and awareness about issues going on today and
brings it to campus. Faith's favorite thing about UCM is how the professors care about
you and the memories she is making. In her spare time, Faith loves to travel.
Ideas & Issues Coordinator
Debra O’Reilly is a junior from Belton, MO majoring in Social Work. She enjoys Spotlight
because it brings campus together. She chose UCM because the small class sizes allow
one on one time with professors. Debra enjoys cleaning, eating and coloring.
Mules After Dark (MAD) Coordinators
There are two Mules After Dark (MAD) Coordinators and our first one is Paris Moore.
Paris is a junior from St. Louis, MO majoring in Aviation Management. Her favorite
thing about spotlight is how creative everyone is from the events we throw to how
we advertise them. She loves the school spirit at UCM and her favorite pastime is
painting her nails. The other coordinator is Trevor Gillespie. Trevor is a Community
Advisor (CA) this semester and is new to the executive board.
