About Me
I taught high school and middle school social studies for 11 years in the Oklahoma City Public Schools District. I stay current in my content area discipline as a reader in addition to serving as a table leader for the Advanced Placement US History exam. Since my time at UCM, I have been very active in service to the University, College of Education, and the Department of Educational Foundations and Literacy, and now the Middle, Secondary, and Adult Education department. I also had the opportunity to serve as the Graduate Coordinator for the Master of Arts in Teaching and the Master of Science in Education Curriculum and Instruction from 2013 to 2017.
