Attend a monthly Professional Training and Education Open House to find out how. UCM and the Full Employment Council are partnering to offer open houses the last Tuesday of each month from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee's Summit, MO.

UCM offers flexible high-demand career certificate programs designed to help you obtain the job you want. Multiple programs available in the following industries:

  • Business Administration
  • Healthcare
  • Information Technology
  • Logistics/Warehouse

UCM offers multiple options in each industry. Examples of quality programs within healthcare include certified nursing assistant, certified medical technician and medical billing and coding -- all entry-level jobs currently in demand in our area and nationwide. Many programs can be completed within a few months. Classes are forming now. For more information about the events or UCM programs, contact mic@ucmo.edu.

Find out if you qualify for this debt-free tuition assistance and develop your career potential by attending an open house event. Each open house includes representatives from the Full Employment Council to help you determine your eligibility for financial assistance. Information will also be available from the University of Central Missouri as well as the Missouri National Guard. 

FEC funds are based on eligibility as well as availability. The Full Employment Council serves residents of Cass, Clay, Platte, Jackson and Ray Counties. Those attending the event are asked to bring in a document including their birth date such as (one of the following required) driver’s license, state identification, birth certificate, baptismal certificate, hospital record of birth or United States passport. It is recommended that you bring an updated resume, preferably saved as a Microsoft Word document on a CD or flash drive.
