UCM Harmon College, Central Bank Jointly Create New Extended Internship

Before students graduate from the University of Central Missouri, one of the most cherished learning opportunities comes through internships that provide valuable hands-on experience and insight into their prospective careers. While these opportunities typically last one semester, Central Bank and the UCM Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies are taking this experience one step further through a new extended, paid internship that is two semesters long, and begins this fall.

Massachusetts Educator Soon to Begin Duties as Harmon College Dean

Selected through a national search, Mark Suazo, Ph.D., a longtime college educator whose professional path also has included working as an engineer and as program manager for multimillion dollar projects, will put his experience to work as the new dean of the University of Central Missouri’s Adrian and Margaret Harmon College of Business and Professional Studies. He begins his service to UCM on July 11.

UCM Students Take First Place at University of Kansas Sales Competition

Continuing to have a successful spring 2022 semester, the University of Central Missouri sales team took first place in the King’s Hawaiian sales competition hosted by the University of Kansas School of Business April 8-9 in Lawrence.
