Members of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City visited the University
                                                of Central Missouri Lee’s Summit campus July 16.
The young people heard from UCM staff members about the university’s programs and
                                                student activities as well as the advantages of dual credit courses during high school,
                                                scholarships and financial aid. The visit also included a team-building activity and
                                                tour of the Missouri Innovation Campus.
The University of Central Missouri offers undergraduate, graduate, certificate and
                                                other workforce development programs. Courses are available in a variety of formats
                                                including face-to-face, online and hybrid (face-to-face combined with online) at Warrensburg
                                                as well as at the Missouri Innovation Campus in Lee’s Summit.
Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City provides affordable, accessible opportunities in the urban core. Close to 8,000 local
                                                students are involved in the organization through activities such as athletics, art
                                                classes, field trips and tutoring sessions.
