Resignation
A faculty member who decides to resign should send a letter of resignation to the provost. The letter generally is submitted to the department chair and is processed through the dean's office*. The provost may be consulted about limitations relating to specific contractual provisions.
*A copy of the resignation letter should be sent to the Office of Human Resources.
