CA | COOL | MyCAA

Army Credentialing Assistance (CA)

Service members in the Army (Active Duty, Reserves, and National Guard) may be eligible to participate in the Credentialing Assistance Program for courses and exams that lead to industry-recognized civilian credentials in an occupational area of your choice. Members can use the program to enhance skills, either in your current MOS, or in an occupation you would like to pursue when you leave military service. Members can recieve up to $2,000 a year.

(Aviation is an exception: $1000) (1 per FY) (3 per 10 years)

MyCAA

UCM's MyCAA Program in Partnership offers a variety of completely online certificate programs with "0" out-of-pocket cost.  Eligible military spouses can receive a $2,000 scholarship.  The MyCAA program is designed to help eligible military spouses gain the training needed to start a rewarding career.

How to Get Started

Step 1:  Determine your eligibility and create a MyCAA account. 


Visit the MyCAA Portal to create your MyCAA account and verify your eligibility with the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS).


Step 2:  Choose your career path.


Select a UCM training course that will prepare you for an in-demand, portable career and is eligible for MyCAA funding. See the UCM MyCAA Catalog for popular courses.  Additional certification courses can be found here.  If you would like a certificate/certification that is not listed in either area, please contact our MyCAA Program Coordinator for more information at wafb@ucmo.edu.

Not Eligible for MyCAA?
