Summer Camps for Kids and Teens: Engaging, Educational, Enriching and Fun!
UCM’s Greater Kansas City Writing Project will present two one-week Young Writers Camps this summer, designed for students
in middle and high school. Young writers will learn more about creative writing with
sessions designed and led by experienced teachers of writing. At the end of each week,
students will share their favorite pieces at an open mic celebration. All sessions
meet Tuesday - Friday, 9am - 2pm.
Session dates:
July 9-12 at Missouri Innovation Campus (1101 NW Innovation Parkway, Lee's Summit)
July 16-19 at Anita B. Gorman Conservation Center (Kauffman Legacy Park, 4750 Troost,
KCMO)
