In late spring or summer of each academic year the Chair of the President's Commission on Inclusivity seeks nominations and self nominations to fill upcoming openings on the Commission. The majority of members serve a three year term and approximately one third of the Commission changes each year. The President appoints members and may re-appoint a member to serve additional terms.
The American Association of University Women which exists to advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education and research. The University of Central Missouri is a university partner with AAUW.
Since 1973, the Office of Women in Higher Education (OWHE) of the American Council on Education has provided national leadership in the advancement of women into executive positions and campus presidencies.
The Higher Education Resource Services now offer three excellent institutes of leadership training for women:
