Old Business

The annual Support Staff Breakfast was a great success.  Brenda thanked the committee for doing a fabulous job.  Lots of goodies were given away.  Between $700 and $800 was given to New Beginnings in addition to the items taken to them.

The Survival Adult Abuse Center, Inc. fundraiser, Girls Night Out, was held April 28th at Players Restaurant.  Brenda Dooley and Ginny McTighe both helped out.  The fundraiser about double the attendance from a year ago and almost doubled the proceeds, estimating net proceeds of $4,000-$4,400.  Survival House hopes to find a larger venue next year at which to hold the growing event.

New Business:

Brenda asked if it would be necessary to meet if there is no agenda in June.  We will need to meet in July for elections and August to finalize the elections.

It was decided we would not meet in June unless something comes up.  We will be notified by email.

Discussions were had about the upcoming recommendations from the Administrative Review Rapid Response team and the vote by the Board of Governors. Everyone is anxious to see how things fall in place.

It is time to apply for Parking pass renewals.

Support Staff Drawing

No drawing for this meeting.

If anybody has any suggestions about things to be donated for the drawing, please let Brenda know.  If you have connections for coupons/certificates, your assistance would also be appreciated.

Brenda adjourned the meeting at 2:20 pm.

Our next meeting will be July 12, 2011 – 1:30 pm – UN 235 (unless otherwise announced.)

Respectfully submitted:

Joyce M. Stephens
