Reasons to Choose UCM
I chose UCM because I immediately felt at home on campus. The Department of Political Science was what convinced me UCM was for me because they cared about me before I was even a student. Professors spent more than an hour talking to me about what I wanted to be when I graduate and why I wanted to be a Political Science major. That meeting will forever be one of my fondest memories and is the one thing that changed it all for me. I was a name, not a number.

Advice to Students:
Get involved. It will make all the difference when it comes to your college career. Involvement at UCM opens so many doors for everyone who chooses that path. Through involvement, students will find their best friends while preparing for their future and make them feel at home.

I Wish I Would've Known...
It's alright to have to learn how to study when you come to college. I never had to study in high school. So, when my first exam came my freshman year, I didn't do well, but was too embarrassed to ask for help. Once I put my pride away and asked for help, I became a stronger student.
