The University of Central Missouri’s Legal Secretary Certificate course is designed for beginning and more experienced secretaries. Students will improve their skills and become more valuable in the workplace through this online, instructor-led seven-week course. Through emails and an online discussion board, students have the advantage of interacting with their instructor and other students. Median pay for legal secretaries is $44,730, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Through this program, students earn a certificate of completion and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
