

Through the University of Central Missouri's Clinical Medical Assistant Training program, students prepare to begin a new career in the high-demand, rewarding healthcare field. Medical assistants play a key role in keeping healthcare facilities running smoothly. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, medical assistants in the middle 50 percent of professionals earn a median salary of $44,200 annually. Demand for medical assistants is expected to grow by around 12% by 2034. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.
