The University of Central Missouri's Pharmacy Technician ASHP/ACPE certificate program is an online, self-paced program designed to help you launch a rewarding new career. This program is ideal for individuals who have solid math skills and who enjoy interacting with and helping people. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the need for these professionals is expected to grow by 6% by 2034. Median annual salary for pharmacy technicians is approximately $43,460. Through this program, students earn an industry-recognized certificate and continuing education units which may not be applied to a degree program and are not eligible for federal financial aid.

Through our program, you will be prepared to earn national certification offered by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. The national certification increases earning potential, marketability and flexibility. The certification is not required in all states but is considered an advantage in any job search.
