Throughout the year, workshops are held both on and off campus to aid professional development for teachers and instructors. Hands on applications and teaching aids maximize student learning and participation.
Lincoln Welding School
Registration & Lab fee: $200
Optional three hours of graduate credit: $249
Learn by participating in hands-on activities. This course will cover TIG, MIG, SMAW, Plasma Cutting, and Oxy Acet cutting. Teachers will develop a teaching aid they can take back to their school. Instructors: Lincoln Electric’s training staff from Cleveland, Ohio

This institute will be hands-on in nature. The first day will consist of activities that will teach secondary students the principles and practices associated with food processing, food science and food safety in the food industry. The second day will consist of local industry tours.
