Area 03 Wildlife and Natural Resource Conservation

Whether you love to hunt, hike, fish, take pictures, watch birds, or engage in some other activity that connects you with nature, you possess a passion for the outdoors and an interest in the proper conservation and management of our natural resources.

The Wildlife and Natural Resource Conservation emphasis encompasses the science and art of studying, managing, conserving, and protecting wild animal populations and the ecosystems on which living things depend. Our curriculum is designed to educate students in the art and science of applied ecological knowledge to aid in managing natural resources and is for students who have the desire to work towards the future health of our many natural resources.

This is a recommended program of study for the Biology Major, B.S.Area 3 Wildlife and Natural Resource Conservation Degree at UCM.
