Career Readiness Certificate Program (CRCP)

The Career Readiness Certificate program (CRCP) is a not-for credit program designed to aid students with their career development and transition to the workforce. The CRCP consists of eight modules covering the following topics:

  • Teambuilding Skills
  • Building Your Brand
  • Networking and LinkedIn
  • The Hidden Job Market
  • Interviewing Skills and Professional Dress
  • Targeted Resume and Cover Letters

CRCP is offered in the Spring and Fall at both the Warrensburg and Lee's Summit campuses. Students can enroll through MyCentral; the course number for the program is CEU2500 and the fee for the program is $150.  The class is a point based system that requires students to achieve a minimum number of points to achieve certification.

Upon successful completion of the program, CRCP will appear on student transcripts, indicating to future employers that students are actively working to prepare themselves for the workforce.

Designing CRCP was a collaborative effort on behalf of the Career Development Services and Delta Epsilon Iota to offer a comprehensive program which will give students a strong foundation for a seamless transition from college to career.
