Dr. Mary E. Kelly

Professor, Sociology

Dr. Kelly teaches courses in race and ethnic relations, family diversity, gender, globalization, food and popular culture. Her research addresses ethnic boundaries and identification of Lithuanian Americans and racial, ethnic, and gender issues in a global context.  Currently she is researching ethnic identity and in-home genetic testing as well as writing about the use of Wikipedia in the classroom. She serves as the Coordinator of the Social Gerontology Graduate Program.
