In the Fall we host Future Teacher Academy (FTA) to bring together high school and middle school students from multiple districts to gain insight and knowledge on the steps it takes to become a teacher. This one-day event features informative sessions designed and facilitated by the University of Central Missouri (UCM) faculty. Students stay together with their school group while they engage in challenges and round table discussions. The day finishes with a keynote speaker.
