Sandra Jenkins

A compassionate educator who works to make learning about research engaging and interesting, Sandra Jenkins has been a part of the UCM library science program for over 20 years. Originally from Sedalia, Missouri, she earned her BSE in English, MS in Library Science, and EdS in Library and Information Services from UCM. She teaches several sections of LIS 1600 University Library & Research Skills. When she’s not teaching classes, she enjoys library humor, reading, and binge watching television shows. Her research interests include first-year students, information literacy, first-generation students, and the transition from high school to college.
