Dr. Jun Wang

Research Areas: Computer Networking, and Network Security

Dr. Wang received his B.E. degree in electronic engineering from Harbin Engineering University, M.S. degree in computer science from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Old Dominion University. Dr. Wang joined the Department of Computer Science and Cybersecurity in 2014. Prior to joining UCM, he was a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Engineering at Norfolk State University. His research interests include computer networking, network security, cloud security, and cryptography. Dr. Wang holds GIAC certificates in Web Applications Penetration Tester (GWAPT) and Cloud Security Automation (GCSA).
