Dr. Jingxi Liao

 

Dr. Liao received his B.A. degree in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from the University of Connecticut in 2018 and his M.A. degree in Statistics from Columbia University in 2020. He received his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics with a track in Financial Mathematics from the University of Central Florida in 2025. Prior to joining the University of Central Missouri, he served as a Lecturer and Director of the Actuarial Science Certificate Program at the University of North Texas. He has completed most of the examinations and coursework required to attain the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) designation. His research interests include actuarial mathematics and optimal control.
