Join a diverse and interdisciplinary Health Studies program focused on the corporate, clinical and communal sides of health care:
- Real-world experience: Students earning their BS in Health Studies complete 300 hours of work in the field during internships. Many of our courses also integrate volunteer work in the community, so you can serve those most in need while earning credit and building a robust resume.
- Travel with Health Studies: Go beyond the classroom and travel to another country to learn about global health and explore a new culture. Past travel opportunities include “A Taste of France with Nutrition,” in which students enjoyed a 10-day tour of France’s cuisine for course credit. Future trip includes traveling to Pura Visa Costa Rica in 2024.
- Networking: One of the best ways to find a rewarding career is to build a strong network of peers and professionals who can help you succeed. That’s why, beginning in introductory courses, students in Health Studies meet professionals in the field they’re interested in entering. Faculty advisors also encourage and help students find and implement health initiatives on campus.
- Flexible degree options: No matter how hectic your life or work schedule is, you can make time for your education thanks to our online, in-person and hybrid courses.
