Mr. Dennis Cochran joined the faculty in 2020 with over 25 years of experience in the commercial and industrial construction industries. He most recently worked with JE Dunn Construction Company as a Field Superintendent. He attended and graduated from the Carpenter's Joint Apprenticeship Training Program in Kansas City. Dennis holds an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Technologies from Metropolitan Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Technology with a concentration in Construction Management from UCM, and is currently working on a Master of Science in Technology with an emphasis in Construction Management at UCM. Dennis teaches Applied Construction Practices, Hydrology and Drainage Design, and Project Control.

Mr. Cochran has held the OSHA 30 hour safety certification for several years, has taught several job site safety talks, and performed Jobsite Hazard Analysis (JHA's) on a number of projects.
